Clay Aiken Plastic Surgery Chin Implants Before and After

"American Idol" Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken wasn't born with that chiseled jawline -- oh no! After much speculation earlier this year, the pop star has finally admitted that he went under the knife to have a little work done!
During an interview on Bravo's "What What Happens Live" last night (March 27), host Andy Cohen asked the unusually fresh-faced 33-year-old the question on everyone's mind, "Have you ever had any plastic surgery?"

"I had a surgery on my jaw for a TMJ [Temporomandibular Joint Disorder] thing, and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there," Clay willfully admitted. "I said, 'You know what, while I'm already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin!'" he added.
Clay was on a bit of an honesty streak that day. When asked what pop star today wouldn't make it past the first round of "American Idol," he answered, "There's too many, I've stopped listening to them because they can't sing." Ultimately he settled on "Rihanna," pointing out her "pitch problems." Ouch!

Rumors swirled in January that Clay Aiken went under the knife after he was announced as a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice,” and his promotional shot showed off a different look for the singer – and now he’s coming clean about going under the knife.

“Have you ever had any plastic surgery?” “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen asked Clay on Tuesday’s show.

“I had surgery on my jaw for a TMJ (Temporomandibular joint) disorder thing and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there,” the 33-year-old Season 2 “American Idol” runner-up revealed.
Adding, “I was like, ‘You know what, while I’m already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin.”

The singer-turned-reality star remained candid when asked which of today’s current crop of pop stars would not make it past the first round on “Idol.”

“There’s too many, I’ve stopped listening to them because they can’t sing” he said. “Rihanna has some pitch problems for sure.”

I don’t think that many would argue against that fact that Clay Aiken is one of the best American Idol products ever. He is immensely talented. Apparently, the machine behind his persona felt that his physical appearance needed ‘sharpening’. Did they go too far? I believe so. Even Yahoo’s music blogger took note of Clay’s transformation (he has a new album out called On My Way Here) and likened him to Madonna.

This is what Clay Aiken (see him on the AI website) looked like at the start of his reality tv journey and today he looks nothing like that. Literally all of his features are different.

In this photo, you can see that he now has what looks like more prominent eyelids, a straighter nose, a stronger chin, and molded cheeks. The photo on the right is very, very recent. It is almost as if he is morphing into Zac Ephron.

Now, look at what seems to be additional changes (yup, it looks like the record label spent a fortune on plastic surgery for one of their prize possessions). His gum line looks lower, his teeth look like they have been covered with veneers, and even his ears seem closer to his head (having prominent ears pinned back is called otoplasty and can even be performed on young children).
