Daniel Craig Admits to Facial Plastic Surgery
Daniel Craig recently admitted he needed some plastic surgery on his face after an accident filming the latest James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace." But he tells FOX News that his surgery was blown out of proportion in the press.
"Well a story is a story," Daniel Craig told FOX News recently.
The star, 40, severed his fingertip and had eight stitches on his face after being accidentally kicked by a "Solace" co-star.
"It's a stupid inconvenience because we had to stop filming," he told Elle magazine. "But they gave me an excellent plastic surgeon."
Daniel Craig hopes his portrayal has brought some depth to Ian Fleming's famous spy.
"I think James Bond has changed. He's not a shallow brute," Craig said. "I wanted some fallibility. It's no good if Bond is a cocktail-swigging sexist pig with no interior struggle. Bond is often off or upset, and I wanted to bring that out."

According to the National Enquirer, the James Bond star “made a New Year’s resolution to permanently pin back his trademark Dumbo head-flaps via plastic surgery!”
A 'friend' of the hunk told the publication: “Daniel’s always been oversensitive and self-conscious about his protruding ears he recently confessed to the director of his super-sucessful Skyfall movie that all he could see while watching the film was… his ears!”
It’s been a massive year for British cinema, with ‘Skyfall’, becoming the highest grossing British film of all time during Bond’s 50th anniversary. With the latest instalment becoming the first ever Bond movie to be nominated for Film of the Year.
In 2002 it received a London Evening Standard Special Award for 40 years of James Bond, but never best film. The nomination comes after Adele won the 2013 Golden Globe for Best Song for the theme tune ‘Skyfall’.

Daniel Craig, who was recently pictured sporting an arm sling, told Elle magazine: 'It's a stupid inconvenience because we had to stop filming. But they gave me an excellent plastic surgeon.'
The actor also admitted having a crush on 007's boss.
He said all men fancied M, played by Dame Judi Dench, 73, in the Bond films.
Daniel Craig said: 'M's gorgeous. All men have thought about her at least once in their lives.
'The great thing about Judi Dench is that she's the matriarch of British film.
'She has an innate power about her. And yes, Bond needs a woman like M to contain his nonsense and say, "Look, 007, you've been an idiot!"
