Carla Bruni Plastic Surgery Before and After Facelift and Botox Injections

Too much Botox? Carla Bruni is 'barely recognisable as the glamorous woman who married Sarkozy four years ago'
Four years as France’s first lady looked to have taken their toll on Carla Bruni yesterday as she voted in presidential elections which are on course to bring them to an end.

Just before exit polls predicted that her husband, Nicolas Sarkozy, would suffer a humiliating defeat, Carla ticked her ballot paper close to her home in Paris’s 16th arrondissement.

Many suggested that too much Botox and other surgical procedures had transformed her fresh good-looks into something a lot stranger.

‘She looks like the Bride of Wildenstein,’ said one onlooker, referring to former millionaire art dealer’s wife Jocelyn Wildenstein who severely altered her face through cosmetic procedures intended to make her look younger.

‘Carla is barely recognisable as the glamorous young woman who married Sarkozy in 2008. She looks extremely tired and as if she’s been trying too hard to hold back the years.’

In January, it was claimed a leading American dermatologist said Carla has had so much Botox she 'looks like a chipmunk'

Carla Bruni plastic surgery – how well did it go?

Recently people started speculating about possible Carla Bruni plastic surgery. The main reason for these suspicions was the fact that the singer is almost in her 50s, but her face doesn’t seem to show any kind of aging. Carla Bruni is a popular singer and song writer who has many fans all over the world. She is also known as a wife of the President of French republic Nicolas Sarkozy.

Most of the rumors about Carla Bruni plastic surgery are concentrated on her facial appearance. If we look at some of the photo comparisons, we can see visible differences in how her face looked earlier and now. People have noticed that the shape of her nose seems to have changed a little which can mean that she has gotten a rhinoplasty procedure. Another thing that causes suspicion is that Carla’s face looks tighter and in some places it appears fuller. This can mean that she has been using Botox or other similar inject able substances to reduce the wrinkles and the tightness on the face indicates possible face lift procedures. Some people have also speculated about possible cheek implants or fillers because Carla’s cheeks look a lot fuller than they did in her youth.

However, Carla Bruni has denied having any kind of plastic surgery procedure. Maybe she’s telling the truth and it is her natural beauty and good genes which make her look so youthful? We should also consider that fact that there are no recent photos of Carla Bruni where she is not wearing any makeup – don’t know how she would look naturally. Nowadays, women can make themselves appear a little younger just by correct use of makeup. Also, a certain features of person’s face can appear a little different just because of lighting in the photo or view angle. Most of the people agree that even if Carla Bruni had a little plastic surgery done, it was done very subtly and it didn’t make any drastic changes in her appearance. One way or another, she is a stunningly beautiful woman who continues to look beautiful even when she gets older.

All things considered, there is no way to know if any of the rumors about Carla Bruni plastic surgery are true. From what we can see now, her face looks quite natural and even if there has been any kind of plastic surgery, the changes have been minimal. It seems that at least for now, the truth will remain hidden.

The once radiant former model's face undoubtedly looked tight and stretched, while her skin appeared dull and lifeless.

Needless to say that celebrity watchers were the first to have noticed changes around Carla Bruni's cheeks, eyes and brows, leading to speculation that botox is certainly to blame.

Many suggested that too much botox and other plastic surgery procedures had completely made Bruni barely recognizable.
"She looks like the Bride of Wildenstein," was quoted as saying one onlooker, referring to former millionaire art dealer’s wife Jocelyn Wildenstein who severely transformed her face through plastic surgery procedures intended to make her look a lot younger.

"Carla is barely recognisable as the glamorous young woman who married Sarkozy in 2008. She looks extremely tired and as if she’s been trying too hard to hold back the years" the onlooker continued.

In January, a leading American dermatologist stated that Carla has had so much Botox she "looks like a chipmunk".

In detail, Los Angeles skin expert Dr Ben Behnam attacked Bruni after seeing pictures of her.
Dr Benham revealed: "Carla is over Botoxed. She's had way too much done. That's why she has the surprised look on her face and looks like a chipmunk."

Dr Benham estimated that Carla had had a "lateral brow lift" and fillers in her cheeks.

He added: "She looks like she's had Radiesse, which is a filler for wrinkle reduction. But her results do not look natural.

"A lot of celebrities these days look the same. They all have the puffy cheeks and cat like eyes" Dr Benham admitted.

"What they should do is just do a little bit so it just makes them look like a younger version of themselves rather than a 50-year-old trying to look 25" Dr Benham claimed.

"A good treatment to get is Sculptra because it looks more natural and can make patients look pretty and attractive rather than that ridiculous fake look" Dr Benham suggested.

British plastic surgeon Dr Alex Karidis stated a year ago that Carla was showing "all the classic signs of a devotion to Botox and fillers".

Karidis was quoted as saying: "The tiny shadows you can just see beneath her nose were probably caused by injectable fillers to get rid of nose-to-mouth lines".

Conclusion: Carla Bruni's plastic surgery is definitely a plastic surgery gone wrong as the results are totally unnatural. Unfortunately, Carla now doesn't remind us at all the woman who became France's first lady in 2007.

Carla Bruni's Hair & Face Are Looking A Bit Different Lately

We've become as comfortable with Carla Bruni in the first lady role as we have with our own FLOTUS, Michelle Obama. But France's first lady may only be able to show off her first lady fashion for one more week if President Nicolas Sarkozy loses to Francois Hollande in Sunday's presidential runoff election.

And unfortunately, now might not be the best time. We noticed (and nodded with approval) at Carla's post-baby style, which has included cozy sweaters and flat boots. But lately the first lady has also experimented with a new beauty look, including different hair.

Today, while at a campaign rally for President Sarkozy at Trocadero Square, Bruni debuted piecey blunt bangs as well as a surprisingly bright dye-job. Her hair had been looking ombre for the past few weeks, but today, out in the sun, it seemed almost... blonde.

There might be another change: Carla's face. Over the past few months, some have noted changes around the former model's cheeks, eyes and brows, leading to speculation that Botox is to blame.

Injections or not, Carla is looking quiet different than the uber coiffed, Dior-clad woman who became France's first lady in 2007. See Bruni below -- what do you think of her new hair?
